A Bright Future Ahead: ACT Scholarship Student Pursues Her Dream of Teaching Science

We’re thrilled to share that Ronah Orishaba, one of our scholarship recipients, is headed to university to become a high school science teacher!

Ronah, 21, has been part of the ACT Uganda family since 2010 through our scholarship program. Her hard work and passion for education helped her excel in math and physics—earning her admission to a teacher’s college in Kabale, Uganda. Thanks to the ongoing support of our donors, Ronah has been able to complete both primary and high school, and now she’s beginning her next chapter.

We’ll continue to provide her with school supplies, accommodations, and food as she pursues her 3-year degree. Please join us in congratulating Ronah on her incredible achievement and dedication!
