Growing Minds, Building Futures: ACT Uganda and Chess For Success Continue Partnership
A huge thank you to Chess For Success in Portland, Oregon! We are so grateful for their support in making our Chess Clubs at Muko High Secondary School and Murole Primary School a success. Chess For Success has generously provided custom t-shirts for all the students in both clubs! These shirts, which were made right here in Uganda, give our students a sense of pride and unity. Not only that, but Chess For Success also pays a stipend to the teachers who serve as coaches. We are also thrilled to share that two of the coaches at Muko High School are students who have become so skilled at the game they are now teaching their peers. This partnership is a testament to the power of collaboration and the impact of investing in the future of these young minds. A big shout-out to Chess For Success for helping us empower our students through the game of chess!
