HONOR Scholarship Donors Needed: Help Us Reach 225 Students in 2025

At ACT Uganda, we believe deeply in the transformative power of education. It opens doors, creates opportunity, and is one of the most direct paths out of poverty for young people in Uganda.

That’s why we’ve set an ambitious goal for the coming year: 🎓 To fund 225 HONOR Scholarships in 2025.

Currently, generous donors like you make it possible for about 155 students to attend school. To reach our goal, we need to add 70 new scholarships—a 40% increase that will give even more children the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

It’s a big goal—but we know it’s possible with your help.

Why These Scholarships Matter

In Uganda, many children—especially girls—miss out on a basic education simply because their families can’t afford tuition or school supplies. Without access to school, the cycle of poverty continues from one generation to the next.

ACT Uganda’s HONOR Scholarships change that story. Each scholarship provides full support for a student to attend Murole Preparatory School or Muko High School, covering tuition, room, and board from primary school through high school graduation.

These scholarships don’t just fund education—they build futures filled with hope, confidence, and opportunity.

How You Can Help

Your support can change a life:

  • 💛 $25 per month for one year supports one student

  • 💛 $50 per month supports two students

  • 💛 Or a one-time gift of $300 covers a full year of schooling, including room and board

Every contribution—big or small—helps bring us closer to our goal of 225 scholarships in 2025.

Join Us in Empowering the Next Generation

Education is a gift that lasts a lifetime. Together, we can make sure more children have the chance to attend school, achieve their dreams, and build stronger communities for the future.
